Description While driving from Reykjavík in the sun I noticed that all rivers and waterfalls were very full and there was water coming down from the mountains everywhere because of melting snow, it was very beautiful.

It looks so beautiful. How far away is this from Reykjavík?

Erm... Two hour drive maybe? It's a pretty new route for me, and I don't pay much attention to time or signs with names

Okay I was wondering how it is to drive out of Reykjavík. In Germany it takes quite a long time to be out of the towns and then being in the nature. I don't know, maybe this is a stupid question.

Ah, well I guess it depends when and where in Reykjavík you start but I hardly think it will ever take over an hour, 30-40 minutes on average perhaps if you're not being picky about your environment...
