I've often imagined how Itachi would have been a reaction to his diagnosis.This is my version

I found it beautiful... in a sad way but it's still beautiful. Just a thing that isn't very clear to me... Is he crying or he's trying to hold back the tears?
You know, I have imagined how Itachi would react to his diagnosis too and in my mind I thougut that he would still stay strong and of course he would just hold on until Sasuke will be ready to stand a chance against him. (this whole thing comes from a song called "I'm alive" from Disturbed, there are some lines that reminded me of Itachi like "the things I treasure most in life cannot be taken away" and "I will make the greatest sacrifice").
I've also imagined another "version" of this fact. In this one he just broke down in the darkness of his loneliness but wouldn't show his pain to anyone as always. As he said in the manga (hope I'm not making any spoiler) he doesn't trust anyone and he doesn't trust himself neither.
Sorry if I spent so much words on my ideas but you work just took it all out of me, it's well done and I'm trying to imagine your whole scene of this diagnosis. I can't stop thinking it's a beautiful scene where we can see a bit "humanity" on the usually cold face Itachi shows to the world.
