I really appreciate that. I guess I've just expanded my interests. I was never "stuck" in abstraction, I love it but there is much more to appreciate. I think my "sight" is improving past the very obvious. I experiment with every disadvantage, light or whatever. The image above is an example of that. I saw something there and "took a shot," Sometimes it pays off. The light was the disadvantage here so I did everything wrong on purpose, though I did try a few settings. This worked just as I wanted it to. Technical skill, maybe, after the last set of seizures I had to relearn my camera, I still don't know what some of the buttons do, One time I was so frustrated about doing some simple thing that I've done a million times and I had no idea how to proceed. As I've said before, what ya gunna do?
It's kind of frustratingly funny that I can't remember any songs I knew how to play for twenty years. I set my guitar on my leg and don't know where to start....so I invented a new kind of music that I can never forget, because I guess you may call it free form. It's a blast. My wife however shuts all doors between my playing and her. I'll record some and put it up. My watchers will fun far away when they hear that.

I think there is a deep connection between art and the ability to forget. And if oblivion happens to be forced upon you, well, it's the result that counts, isn't it. It can act as an excellent antidote for repetition I guess, for one thing. Are you going to publish any of your Music from the Great Unknown here on dA?

I can forget every two minutes.
I will be working on the "music" posted. It could be called Avant-guarde, discordant trip metal, That I can never forget what to play because its "free form."

One man's meat is another man's poison !!! Hard to choose from the different interpretations of "Caravan" by Les Paul, personally I think they are all good.... but then again, that's just my "meat" !!! Very interesting title, btw !!!!

Remember that "Caravan" I believe, was written by Duke Ellington.

To drink until you fall or become vegetarian and Buddhist? All alternatives are valid, but there is always a price to pay for them. Our choices have 50% chance to go right, but also a 50% chance of going wrong. There are no clear directions if there is unpredictability.

I agree, but for most it's 60% of going wrong. but I am just a cynic/realist. Without expectations unpredictability has little hold or even meaning for one, It's what there is in front of you, sweep it aside or plunge right into it, circumstance are the determining factor which you do,

For me that's what minimalism is really about, though it is hard to pull off. I thank you very much.
