Yes, it's DONE!! Well, at the least the inking process.......-_-Anyways, I'm proud to present the new and improved Nidhogg!! A lot of differences can be seen from how Nidhogg used to be. His outfit is a tad different, you can see his scales now, his leg structure is different, the plates under his tail are different, even his twin swords, (which only one can be seen here) has been slightly changed!!
Compare today's Nidhogg with how Nidhogg used to look like in these drawings!

And most of these drawings are only over about a year old!!
Hmm.....now I'm deciding whether Nidhogg should keep that antorbital fenestra on his face, or if I should remove it. I was actually only experimenting to see if it would look good on Nidhogg, but I haven't completely decided if it should stay or not...=/

Damn Niddy.
Tha is pretty damn impressive, maybe your best up to this point (can't say for certain yet), but damn, that is incredible. Wonderful work, it just looks amazing, the deatils and shading is just mind blowing.
If I had to say something odd at all about the image, which I hate to do, but it would have to be the sword, it just seems weird to me how it kinda disappears when it goes behind the leg, should see something there.
Other than that...well, hell, I don't know, this just is amazing, better than anything I ever hope to produce.

Nice, I went back and checked out the old pics, and yes the scales do add a lot to him. I do like the fact that they kind of fade on the feet, makes it look not so uniformly scaled in general (which is good b/c then it doesn't look like a flat texture throughout his entire body) I can see that there are no scales on his face like ReptileCynrik said, but I feel like putting scales there in a simlar fashion to his body would clutter up his face too much. It does look a little flat, but with proper shading, it should get some volume in no time!
Can't wait for the colored version, it looks great, keep going!

And I finally KNOW, which picture I can use as reference when I draw YOU a "Nidhogg" in the promised "art-trade"!
His clothing is very cool - everything fits and "works"!! His proportions are quite okay - I'd only propose to make something with his face. I mean... I like the scales on his body, but the face has NO scales - this make it look quite "pale". Maybe, some small details would be cool OR you just do a cool coloring (as usual) on the face parts.
And I like your title design... DAMMIT! I wanted to create one, too! *cryyyyyyyyyy* 
After all, a cool pic and I wanna see it colored!!!!

About the face, I kinda noticed that too. But I didn't change anything 'cause I didn't want to risk messing anything up. But I'm gonna' detail it more when I color it, so it really doesn't matter.
As for the title design, you're more than welcome to create a title design for Nidhogg! I'm quite interested in seeing what you'll create for him
Oh, for the coloring part, I won't color this until I'm done with all my gift arts, art trades and commissions first. Or perhaps I'll at least color it a little along the way as I'm completing art for my friends. I haven't really decided.

Heheh I love all the detail you do, you always do great detail man. doing all those scales at to be a pain, if I do do them in a picture it's usually lightly, and then do more work on them in photoshop my self

Oh, man, this is VIEWTIFUL. But I say kill the fenestra thingy, it kinda looks ugly on him. I love this. But man, are you sure you're up to this kind of detailed torture when you do normal drawings? I mean, holy shit...Wow. This is AWESOME. But I think I still like the pic you made of Hiromo better than this, at least untill it's colored
