Description Edit: Had a small fit and learned something new in cinema 4D that made my renders slightly better, so I decided to update with the improved version. What's different is that wheat, tall grass and flowers no longer have ambient occlusion on them and as result are much brighter

Unfortunately the project will still be on hold, lacking both time and motivation to finish whats left of the project. It's Possible I'll find time and motivation to finish it in the future, but I can't and I won't make any promises.

Since I did an aerial view over the Capitol of Konig project I decided I should do the same with this project. As you can see it's missing a lot of buildings to the left. On the upper half to the left I planned to farms and a quarry, the quarry is built. And down on the lower left, I planned to have most of the village housing as well as a lumber mill.
Most of the castle itself is finished, just lacking some finishing touches here and there.

I'm trying to make something similar, but I don't know about you, but I'm building it legit. Mining that stone, chopping those trees and so on. I currently have a temple (where the town is being built around), 2 houses, a hotel, a tavern , a railway line (complete), another 2 houses, a library, a castle (almost complete), another 3 houses and a marketplace only at foundation point. I also have a tree farm, a regular farm a very nice cobblestone generator and a nether portal and the railway line goes to another village I found. The only thing that is not legit are the 2 beacons I have, there's one at each village (only 2). Just so I don't get lost when I'm exploring.

This is incredible, I've started on a town but lack the creativity and building skills to finish it the way my mind sees it.
This however is truly awe-inspiring, and total props to you for going this far into a project. I'd love to download it to check it out up close however I'm not sure how much memory it would take up D: (My computer is not good quality)

Thanks! Yeah, I know what that feels like. Just keep playing with different ideas
and you'll find something that works. Sure go ahead, links are in the description,
the world itself is only 8mb so there shouldn't be any problems there
and memory use in-game isn't much different than other maps.
And good luck on your project

Aww cheers! I'll be downloading it tomorrow in the morning since I have the day off work.
For now I'm out for the night haha sleep is too good a thing to pass up.

looks great, are your cities connected by ships w/ ports or something of that nature?

Thanks If they were placed in the same world they likely would be, considering my latest projects ended up as coastal cities.

Wow. I'm gonna be honest. Every time I start a build I never finish it. Most of them are not even half done! I have to give props to you for getting this far. Pretty awesome and hopefully you keep that project going!

Thanks!
I'm actually surprised that I managed to get this far with the project
Being about twice as large as my previous project there where times when I felt like
abandoning it, especially when I did landscaping since I refrained from using MCedit.
I think a third of the time is spent on landscaping alone...
