Then I begin! Haha.
Anyway, something is off about the mane and tail. It looks great, but I can't decide what it is. Maybe it's just that the style of the hair contrasts the horse's body so much - the hair is much sharper, if you will, more defined - while the body is more smudged and smoother.
Which brings me to the body. It seems a little over-smudged. Not to the point where it looks plastic, but it's like I can't see the shoulder and rump muscle lines. I don't know if you re-painted it and it's not smudged, at all, but it's what it seems like. It looks sorta painted. o.o Usually what I do when I smudge/paint something over again, is I'll duplicate my original layer, do my thing, then reduce the opacity on your second layer until it looks realistic. Maybe that'll help with the contrast between mane and body.
But really that's all I have. I'm honestly in no place to critique because I suck majorly, but it's probably the reason I pick those things out. o.o Anyway, it looks great, and keep practicing!

WOW. This manip has some of the best colors I have seen in a long time, I love the warm tones, and the mane and tail are perfect! Instant favourite!
