"You're all right," his groggy voice assured her. "Just a bad dream."
"I don't HAVE bad dreams," Toph grumbled under her breath, rubbing sand from her eyes. The air was cold -- it was probably the middle of the night still. She felt the warmth of Sokka's breath on her face as he sighed, shifting his body as he inched toward her on the bed.
"Things will be fine," Sokka whispered to her, clamping his hand down on her neck with tender reassurance. "You don't have to try and take this on all by yourself. We're a team now, remember?"
