Description
This is a gift for my friend ~Xanthos-Samurai , who inspires me with her delicious writing. She has a character named Nightmare Man, who can assume just about any shape and usually appears as a black creature with silver eyes and its mouth tied shut with red thread. I forgot the "shut" part until I was almost done with the picture.
Xan says she has this nightmare where she's paralyzed, and there a cat with hands instead of paws sitting on her chest, and it slowly reaches out and strangles her. So I drew Nightmare Man as a handcat just for her.

sleep paralysis... there once a time when i was obses with this phenomena and use to try and take control of the situation... some of the times i would see myself getting out of my body so i try controlling the outterbody thing so to say but the things i saw i will never like to see again... it was if i could see my family's true way of being... the 1st time i saw an oldman... some of the times it would seem i was floating... these days, as weird as it sounds i see dark figures outside my window... i have try to sketch what i see but the only way i can describe it is as if instead of light, dark emanates from their bodies... jajajaja!!! sorry for the long talk...

Sleep paralysis is one of the most terrifying things ever. Good for you for trying to take hold of the situation. Even when I know what it is, it scares the crap out of me! You are more brave than I am.
