They had a constant stream of shows that RES was attending since October. Now in the dead of winter Zeph heard of something that was a little different. From all the way up in cold Canada, where the days had fallen to highs of -26C, they had recieved a letter of invitation to the Inglorious Vikings Christmas Show. Why would this be any different? Zepharo sighed as he propped his chin on an arm and continued reading. It had been addressed to Milly but she had thought to pass it on to him for some reason.

As his eyes passed over the letter his head lifted and a smile grew on his face. Skijoring? That must be the first time he had ever seen one of the HArpg stables holding a Skijoring show. Zeph remembered the days when he was younger, only a small painted pony at hand, and skijoring around the acreage with it. Smiling he looked out the window to where Solstice had decided to take residence. The mare loved snow, and was built for it too.

Within seconds he had written a letter of registration to the Vikings and began ordering the shipment of his equipment from out of storage. They would definitely need some practice, but he was confident in the mares commitment to any task, and knew they would be at least decent.

It was finally time to ship off to the Vikings Stables....

Winter Solstice was packed up in her oversized trailer and zeph was behind the wheel as they pulled up to the large plot of land. It didn't take long to find their hitching spot and soon both Zeph and Solstice where wandering around the grounds aimlessly, Winter Solstice following her human friend like and oversized puppy dog, lead line drapped over her own back.

When they found the mountain lake, where they would be performing, Zeph took his gear and hitched up to Solstice. They patiently waited their turn, watching the other competitors as they spun down the mountainside and passed over jumps and other various obstacles. In no time it was their turn, and they flew across the snow with ease and as much grace as they could. Solstice enjoying her romp in the snow as much as Zepharo enjoyed passing over each jump and weaving through the obstacles.

When they finished Zeph stood, skiis over his shoulders as he patted the large mares neck and whispers praises in her ear. It was a job well done.
