The world had gone insane, that was the only logical reason for these events thought Rogus Indaril. First he was going to be executed for crossing the border to skyrim, which he didn't do! he was still well over the line, if anyone crossed the border it was the guys who arrested him for being a stormcloak, because being a Dunmer mean the was helping the Nords, who hated Dunmer, Imperial logic at it's finest.

But what fully and without a doubt told him that something was wrong was this right now, standing on the lip of an old watch tower was what everyone around him was calling a "dragon"
Rogus saw no dragon.
"Wait, doesn't anyone notice something is horribly wrong! Isn't that a little girl and not a dragon?!"

They all looked at the young Dunmer like he was the crazy one, but he was looking at a little girl with gray blue hair, and well she sort of had dragon wings and a tail, but still!
That wasn't the dragons from the legends, towering fire breathing flying reptiles, signs of the end times for the Nords.

The "dragon" said something in a weird language and a high pitched, clearly childlike voice, and the sky erupted into flames, raining hellfire on them.

Rogus was sent flying over the city walls and into a nearby river, which carried him away with alarming swiftness.
