Yeah, stress for me is basically what you described here, except you have a burning pain in your stomach too. And there's always an element of fear in the beast.

For me, I get it in the head too, like it genuinely feel like your brain is overloading. And yeah, as Stress is in a constant fight-or-flight state, I’d imagine its’ path of destruction is triggered by it lashing out out of both fear and anger.

Yeah. They speak of having an inner chimp in us which comes out during our worst of times.
But we paleo-enthusiasts know the truth - it's a mammoth withing all of us that keeps us going. And sometimes drives us to suicide, but we won't talk about those mammoths.
