Aidek is a biotechnology company - the leading biotech company in Zoincailla, in fact. This single interplanetary company is responsible for singlehandedly eradicating thousands of infectious and genetic diseases, and invented numerous biological machines that are used in Zoincailla today, such as the neurocomputer. Aidek also pioneered the use of artificial psionics, which paved the way for several other technologies and bodily enhancements.

In recent years, Aidek has received generous amounts of grant money from the government in order to produce multiple top-secret experiments. The nature and scope of these experiments are largely unknown by the general populace, causing a certain level of suspicion and controversy among particularly wary individuals.

Aidek’s headquarters are located aboard the mobile space colony Artrodus, At the time of its construction, Artrodus was the largest space colony in all of Zoincailla, and today it still remains in the top 5. This highly advanced facility is staffed by over 50,000 workers and researchers spanning several different fields. Aside from its external solar arrays, the facility is powered by bioelectricity from a specially-made organic core. The biological core is not actually more efficient than more standard generators; it was simply made to demonstrate the wide range of applications that Aidek’s technologies have. The dome at the top of the facility is the largest greenhouse in Zoincailla, spanning an area as large as an average-sized city.
