I do not need to have children. They'd just end up like Manila.This looks soooo much better in real life, darker and the colors look more blended together. Oh wells. Just wanted to try something new.
Manila be mine.
(note: while I'm welcoming critique note that I purposely draw four-fingered hands. It's a cartoon thing. That or he was a dope baby. Either or.)

My only nitpick is the background. I mean I love the shape of it, the way the ocean is bent and such, but the sky and ocean look a little too close in color. I would add some darker blues/purples possibly in the ocean so the two stand out, but that's just me. XD
But still awesome job!

Haha, you noticed! XD Actually the ocean was SUPPOSED to be the sky, but oh noes! I made it too dark. So I added some green to try to pass it off as an ocean XD *failed* Thanks fer the crit!

I love his feeets, and I like how you kind of squinched up the ball to make it look like its been thrown, instead of just drawing the lines.

To add to the motion, I would've put Manila's body at a slant (head more to L and feet more to R) or I would've exaggerated the smashing by only putting his head more to L and making his neck stretch in a cartoony sort of way.
You said the colors look different on screen, I understand that. Happens to me all the time, but I still think it looks cute.

haha I love the expression on his face. Very nice job as always Ms. Tani ^_^ Like the coloring as well. I'm not having children either. Let's just say I tried to teach 20 3-6 year olds karate recently. They have further proven to me that I do not want children.

The twist on the body is really good, and who can't say this hasn't happened to them before? Maybe you could improve the feeling of the ball hitting the face with some little lines or little spiky lines... I forget what you call them....
