My entry for a local drawing contesti lost... but it's okay. i always enjoy joining in contests
because it widens my perspective of things as related to the visual arts.
it's about the kingdom of a vendor.

thank you very much. i am really happy that you enjoyed looking at my artwork. simple rewards
the process is relatively simple, i used white oil paint or replace this with white acrylics for highlights.
technical pen, with a common ball point pen plus graphite for the gradation. (whatever dry medium i could get my hands on, i tried to harmonize it with the artwork)
then i dipped the paper in a water based medium to stain the paper.

yeah i lost.
it's okay, i think the winner deserved the award. his drawing was clean...maybe that was a standard for the competition. plus i used a bit of other media.
me finishing my artwork is very already rewarding for me, considering that i am busy at work.

this artwork is important to me because this is my first pen and ink drawing of that size. it is relatively not that huge but it took me around four days to finish. lol.
lots of scribbling and so on.
