Reading through other critiques I would argue that the metal is actually shaded quite well as I can see a distinct difference between the clothing and face as opposed to the metal. There are clear lines included in the shading of the metal despite the soft lighting. However refinement of shading is always a good way to bring out beauty in an art piece, I do believe the shading could be improved on the hands and under her eye on the left. The eyelashes look longer on that eye it seems because of the shadow. I'm not as sure about this last point but the middle corner of her chest armor on the right edge seems like it might not be curving around her body as much as it should.
This is very beautiful by the way. I greatly enjoyed Fate/Zero and your art really makes me happy. Thank you for this piece. 8)

The aspect of the lady is nice, but I note there's something strange between the size of the armor/ chest and her face.
Firstly I couldn't see it... but now I note the face size is a bit smaller than her body / armor.
In my opinion, the draw is nice.. but you only have to implement some details in the left side or the armor and not lefting that side just fully darkened.
Uhmmm..... I could recommend to insert there a wall or something that could explain to the " watcher / viewer " the lady it's inside a building or... in the wilderness.. If You Know What I Mean.

I always loved mythical designs. I am not sure which anime is this, but I will surely look for. Few questions though, which software and drawing pad have been used? I would love to know that. This is my first critique, so ignore my faults. Great job indeed my friend.

This is a really great piece of art depicting Saber from the fate series. Very good uses of color to set the tone for the piece, the artist made good use of soft light on her face and clothes. However I feel like when it came to lighting the armor parts and her sword, the lighting may have been a little off. I feel like with the way metal works that there would be some stronger lighting contrast for those parts as it is right now it looks like metal but bends light similar to clothing. Overall I think aside from minor issues the work is very pleasing to look at and I feel like the artist did an excellent job overall.

Damn that came out really good. I love the freaking lighting in this art work. And it makes sense too. Its like she's in a dark area, but light is coming from one direction. Everything blends in really cool too and it doesn't go too animeee.
