Mrs.Spears has lived her life in comfort, and she intends to continue this. Her standards are quite high, she expects the best for anything and anyone around her. Because she's worth it, truly a gift to pokemanity. She has a flair for taking the spot light, her emotions and movements often drastically exaggerated to call upon the hearts of those around her. She is a well-bred individual, and wouldn't dare do anything rude or nasty (at least to someone's face). She's learned to keep her concerns private and to show disagreement with her actions. After all, everyone should automatically know what ails her. She is the priority. And she'll make sure she stays that way. Anything going on must have her hand in it. She likes to know what is going on at all times, be it around town or in people's personal lives. And she isn't afraid to hold onto to juicy information for use on a rainy day. Waiting is a game she's become a pro at, never one to be openly frustrated her secret knowledge can go under the radar of others for a while. History:

Pretty much used to getting her own way, Mrs. Spears grew up in a rich family that absolutely doted on her, their only daughter. Wanted to go to a high-class girls' school? She got that. Wanted an indoor pool? She got that too. As long as she behaved in a lady-like manner, she was treated as such, and even when she decided to be a petulent child she was seen more like someone wronged. She would make sure she got what she wants, by seeming like the victim in many situations.
This made her one of those people you either love or hate throughout school. She was part of the in-crowd, with the bat of an eye she could get herself out of trouble. This made her rather unprepared for the real world, where people were less inclined to put up with her shit. She went to college originally for a degree in medicine, hoping to net herself a rich husband. But once she figured out it was harder said then done to make it in pre-med she gave up. She changed to something she figured she'd enjoy better: Teaching swim classes at the local gym. Which she totally did. She still got regular amounts of money from her parents, and even got upgraded to teaching classes at a country club. She felt like she was in a pretty good position again. She supposedly met someone in this time and got married.
She started to put her bill where it wasn't wanted, and got a reputation for being gossip-y. She wound up in the middle of some drama, and had a woman physically lunge at her while she was working. A fight started. Both of them got banned from the country club. While the visitor just had no where to play golf, Odette was out of a job.
She looked far and wide for a prestigious position, but she didn't have much credentials. It was suggested mabe her hopes were too high, not having much formal training and being branded a trouble maker. She found out about a job in a school, far away on an island. A private school. This caught her attention, reading on to discover it was mainly an athletics focused school, partially with a child reform basis, she lost some of her interest. But thinking it over she realized this was a much more formal job than her last ones, and would come with a new image as a saintly teacher reigning in wayward children with the beautiful art of swimming. She figured those perks were worth lowering her standards and accepted.
