Just a little thing I whipped up in RAILWORKS to celebrate the 149th anniversary of the completion of the Transcontinental Railroad

The 1-year clock is ticking now for Union Pacific to complete one of their most ambitious projects before the 150th anniversary of the Transcontinental Railroad: the complete restoration of UP 4-8-8-4 "Big Boy" #4014 to operating condition. The project is being carried out at the UP shops in Cheyenne, WY, and with the goal of completing the 4014's restoration by this time next year, a scene just like this one is not too far off! Here is to seeing this beast under steam next year!
