Tick... tock... tick... tock...On some nights, I find it very difficult to get to sleep. I might decide to read for a while, until I'm tired enough to fall into unconciousness. This seems to be around the time when the clocks around the household begin to taunt me, the ticking echoing through my mind and reverberating down my spine like a cruel laughter.
Tick... tock... tick... tock...
Oh, wonderful. My mother's snoring. Again. If you have ever had to experience the agitation and horror of a parent snoring very loudly (at one in the morning, might I add), you will probably understand how I feel - undoubtably frazzled.
Tick... tock... tick... tock...
Roll over onto my back. Turn so that I'm facing the window. Shift around until I'm lying on my stomach. I find myself trapped in this cycle of movement, unable to settle as the uncomfortable fabric of a new bed sheet rubs against my skin. Rinse and repeat, rinse and repeat, two in the morning. And the clocks continue to taunt me.
Tick... tock... tick... tock... tick. Tick. Tick. Tick.
Oh, great. Bloody batteries need changing.

It's especially annoying when the ticking is a pocket watch that's sitting right near your ear. And I HATE it when my mum doesn't stop snoring =A=;; I just want to sleep, damn it!

I like pocket watches and wristwatches though. Some of them can be really unique and interesting. And yes, she does. I usually wake her up when she's snoring too loud. Which is a lot of the time.

xD I use, well, used to use, my iPod for the time~ Now I use my phone. I used to like watches, now... Meh xD
