From my icon, you can probably tell that I'm an Irma fan. And yes, I was so glad that you've made her hat a turtle! If you do the other three, perhaps you could make Taranee's hat a dog (she has a dog or two in the later comics), a cat for Cornelia as she has Napoleon, and probably a little dragon from Hay Lin. (She's the only one without a pet, but she did take care of that dragon) Or an alien for Hay Lin

I of course already had some ideas for other girls, except Taranee. Did she really have dogs? Can you tell the exact issue? I dropped the comic shortly before the New Power, and still didn't catch up
And yes, you guessed my ideas for Cornelia and Hay Lin (I wanted to draw an alien hat for her, but the dragon is a nice idea as well!)

Yeah, it happened after the New Power story arc. I believe it was an issue in the Teach Tb WITCH (a pun on teach to be WITCH) arc, issue #92 Now Longer Alone. Taranee's parents took her to adopt a dog and at the end of the issue, I think they went back to adopt a second dog. It's been a while so I can't remember exactly.
