rainbow1977 — New OC custom Monster High dolls

Description
These are newest OC custom dolls. One of them needs a name, so I'm very open to suggestions.1. Eyevette, triclops. Made with CAM body parts, Liv wig, and Abbey's ski club outfit
2. Grace Anatomy, specter. Made with the CAM skeleton head and Spectra's body, wearing Bratz clothing, Draculaura's boots, and a Liv wig.
3. Frost Bite, bought the snow leopard on etsy, wearing a dress from girlplanet, boots also found on etsy, "fur" is from Bratz.
4. Beauty, daughter of Beast from Marvel's X-Men. Abbey re-rooted with sapphire saran hair from restoredoll.com. Wearing a handmade dress, Cleo's accessories, and Clawdeen's shoes.
5. ?, my daughter begged for a MLP/MH combo. She'd seen a few people do it and wanted her own. I used Draculaura's body and Pinkie Pie's head. I sewed in some midnight black saran hair from restoredoll.com for streaks. She has a metallic silver heart on her cheek, several ear piercings, and a punk attitude. Skirt was bought on etsy, the rest of the clothing is mainly Draculaura... forget who supplied the fishnets.

Wow. I'm starting to like these MH dolls more and more. I'm loving the Snow Leopard. And the pony mix is actually a really cool idea. Might've looked better if you painted her skin to match Pinkie Pie's fur color, though. Looks a little odd, but that's just me.

What is the wig called? I would love to find it on E-Bay or something to buy to re-root on my MH's. Sense I've seen so many like that and it's a gorgeous wig, I love the texture of it!

The wigs are Liv wigs, but if they have specific names I don't know what they are. They do come with a plug in the middle that you'll have to cut off. They even fit the boys.

I've found a lot of Wigs on EBay, sadly most of them are bidding and whenever my dad tries to bid on there he looses, so why would I have any luck. XD
Yeah, I was questioning if I we're to cut that off or not. Hmmm... how would you make the wig stay put on the doll's head? I've heard some glue them and some don't. What do you do? Haha! I don't have any of the boy ones so that wont be to helpful but oh well.

I never glue on the wigs. Some wigs, like the fur ones, can be moved about to make a whole new head. I'm not sure what kind of glue could be used to keep them on. You can probably find Liv wigs at Walmart, TRU, or Target. I've seen them there before.

My mom doesn't shop at Wal-Mart she doesn't like going there and I tried Target but I can't find any MH has toke over what used to be the Liv Doll section, I've found some on EBay but haven't purchased.
I'm not sure what glue either, maybe just a regular??

I don't blame her. I detest Walmart. I don't know what else to suggest about the wigs. Maybe Kmart? We don't have any, so I don't know about that.

The food is low quality, is my offense. My Grandma used to take me shopping there... well because she shops there and why else shouldn't she? It was "on-her-way-to-her-house-and-I-was-with-so-why-did-it-matter"... ah well. But my mother dislikes Wal-Mart because they have a lower quality of stuff. XD So basically what I had said.
Umm... I'm not sure where I would find a Kmart. I'm sure if I asked my mom she would know exactly where one might be, maybe. But I've never gone to a Kmart so that might be different. The only places I really shop for stuff besides food (which I go to Cub or Coburns) is Target.
I do enjoy Fur wigs a lot but they seem complicated to keep smooth and soft looking instead of frizzy, like the wigs I own already.

I have a wig that's similar in colors, so I was wondering if I cut the ties on mine it would look that good.

That should work. If it's crimped from the hands, heat some water as hot as you can stand it, dunk the wig in, brush it out, and let it dry. That should straighten it out.

can you get away with using fimo clay for doll modification?

I have no idea. A friend of mine uses Crayola. I still haven't tried clay but I want to.

My daughter had seen a picture of one and really wanted one for herself.
As for making them, it all depends on what you want to do. For re-root, you remove all the original hair and then sew in new hair. Or you can use Liv wigs. For paint I use acrylic.
