I would appreciate if the T-Rex fanboys didn't scream at me for this.

Me : * as a Rex fanboy * But both are equally beautiful and fascinating animals!
Rexy: Wanna fight?
Spiny: Is it really worth the risk and energy?
Rexy: Ummmmm no!
Spiny: How about we get ourselves a drink and something to eat?
Rexy: Hell Yeah!
And they lived prehistorically ever after...

There is currently a petition for the Spino vs T-Rex Rematch for JW3 and that is so infuriating!

When I first heard JW:FK was coming out, my mind was going all out on possibilities. I was thinking, what if the Indoraptor were to chase the group to shore where the spinosaurus would come out for a battle on the docks. That would've been an awesome was to end the movie. Indoraptor vs JP Spinosaurus.

In the early concept arts, it was planned to be a Spinosaurus during the stampede, but it was scrapped! Now, if the rematch in JW3 happens, the Spino Vs T-Rex Internet debate might last even longer!

Do you think the T-Rex from JP3 was a juvenile? Becuase if it was, then the JP Spino would logically have the fight in the bag for it.

I'm not an indom fan, but saying that, I think that Indominus has higher chance of winning, because of its high intelligence displayed in Jurassic World and its ridiculously high endurance, as it took a RPG, an Ankylosaurus's club to the face, raptors claws , T-Rex jaws and shook it off like nothing, plus it can run for very long distances, compared to the JP3 Spino who ran away from a fire

The Indominus IS powerful. That I respect. But she's got no experience with taking on other large predators other than the battle with Rexy. The Spinosaurus has been on Isla Sorna for lord knows how long. No doubt he's taken out loads of Rexes in his lifetime. He's also got the size on his side. As for the intelligence, the JP spino is said to be a raptor hybrid. He just never got the chance to show off his intelligence on Isla Sorna other than his tactic of snapping the rex's neck. Any other predator would just wait until it chokes. This also comes to show that the Spinosaurus has muscles as well. And let's not get to the DNA Factor spino. That monster's 70 feet long.

Oh, and I completely forgot to mention that Indy wasn't fully grown in JW, plus Spino can still swim, this is where the odds are against Indominus, who obviously can't swim despite having cuttlefish DNA
I would say that it ends as a draw tbh with you.

Well... one bite if the neck then yes, not the arm or legs or some thing . But Trex would have to grip onto the height of the spino to kill it, this was so it wasnβt TOO easy for the Trex. Yes one bite can kill most carnivores dinos but bigger dinos it wouldnβt be as easy for the Trex.

Bro, I just said that is the only thing u rex fans say. I love the Trex Bro. Itβs just in a fight the spino would win 60% of the time, tho Trex would also win 40% of the time.

Yh I know, but primal carnage is a game and Jurassic Park is a movie, none of it is real.
In real life the Trex would win 40% and spino 60%

In real life, the Tyrannosaurus and Spinosaurus lived on completely different continents and millions of years apart, so they wouldβve never encountered each other at all.
Furthermore, generally speaking, large predators avoid fighting with each other due to the possibility of death or severe injury, and thus typically avoid conflict unless absolutely necessary; most encounters would end in one or both simply retreating.
Even then, the Tyrannosaurus and Spinosaurus occupied two completely different niches, with the Tyrannosaurus hunting large, slow, and often armored prey on the land, while Spinosaurus hunted large fish and other aquatic prey in the water. They would never feel the need to fight, since they do not compete with each other.
However, letβs say for the sake of the argument that the two predators meet and decide to fight. The odds are definitely in the T. rexβs favor: while the Spinosaurus was indeed longer, the Tyrannosaurus was most likely heavier and taller, also being equipped with a much more powerful bite-force, which was the most powerful bite of any terrestrial predator. Besides this, it was perfectly equipped for hunting prey that were not only often armored, but just as large as or even larger than itself, whilst the Spinosaurus, again, tended to only hunt large, aquatic prey such as fish and crocodilians, along with the occasional small dinosaur.
As far as Jurassic Park is concerned, the Spinosaurus cloned by InGen has been greatly enhanced genetically speaking, and even hybridized to a degree, hardly resembling the prehistoric Spinosaurus at all and more so a very large and sailed Baryonyx. It has been shown to be capable of killing Tyrannosaurus at least on occasion (contrary to popular belief, thereβs no evidence that the T. rex killed in the third movie was a sub-adult, being referred to as a βbull tyrannosaurβ in the script, although it was admittedly smaller than the tyrannosaurs seen before it in previous films). It even seemed to hunt Tyrannosaurus, as Eric Kirby states that tyrannosaur urine attracts it; however, because such encounters would more than likely prove fatal for one or the other, and according to the Dinosaur Protection Group (DPG), the Spinosaurus is now once again extinct, its more than likely that the creature eventually picked a fight with the wrong tyrannosaur and was killed. Typically, such behavior in the wild (akin to that of a rabid animal) leads to fatalities.
