This piece is based on my interpretation of two people in Adeline Yen Mah's memoir, "Falling Leaves," Adeline (left) and Susan (right). The two women, Adeline (fully Chinese) and her half-sister Susan (1/4th French) are the only characters that I actually liked. Adeline's evil stepmother, (half French and half Chinese) treated these two girls as third-rate humans, after her son (first rate), and her other stepchildren (second rate).Related content
