Raven dropped the bar and then moved the ramp into position while Dani came up and unclipped the headstall from the trailer.
"Well, you're finally home big guy," Raven spoke in a soothing tone as the two women worked the back the big spotted stallion from the trailer.
When Fading Secrets was finally out in the open air he raised his head and let out a power nicker. The warm air blew from his nostrils and he danced about for a little while.
"Well," Dani watched as Raven expertly worked with the stallion to get him to calm down. Once Secrets was calm Raven ran her hand over his well muscled neck and gave him a pat on the shoulder.
"This will be an experiment for sure," Dani watched Secrets warily. He was way more horse than she wanted to handle. "He's definitely going to be under your care!"

Only a few days later Raven had Secrets under saddle and was riding him in the outdoor jumping arena at Irvine.
"Well, he may be a handful on the ground but under saddle he's just great!" She spoke while passing Dani who was sitting on the top rail watching the pair.
"I'm honestly shocked!" Dani exclaimed. "He has way more training then we first thought!"
"I think he's doing well enough to take him to some classes at the hunting festival!" Raven patted Secrets' neck fondly before turning to take him through a few more rounds of jumping.

The trailer pulled up to the grounds of the Traaker Unity Academy and Fading Secrets was unloaded. Raven and Dani led him to one of the guest stalls to let him rest before their first round on competition.
"I can't wait to see how you guys do!" Dani stood next to Raven as they leaned their elbows over the stall door to watch Secrets.
Raven turned and pulled Dani in close. The fall day was chilly and it felt good to have Dani close to her. "I'm sure we'll be fine."
"Better than fine!" Dani smiled brightly. "I think you'll have a real shot at a top spot!"
Raven leaned in, giving Dani a quick kiss. "Thank Dani, I'm so glad you're able to be here with me."
"I wouldn't want to be anywhere else!" Dani blushed a little and then turned to help Raven unload the tack from the trailer.
