Description
With the retiring of the original Ponytones members, the group needed to replace each and every one of them. It was a slow process, Cortland was the first to join the Ponytones, eagerly replacing Big Mac who'd stepped back to take care of his family. His voice was the perfect baritone they needed. Soon after, Bel Canto, son of the famous Colouratura herself, asked to join. His joining replaced Toe-Tapper and the tenor voice the group needed. Soon enough Torch Song retires, and after a little begging from her Mom, Opal Aurora joins the Ponytones. At this point, only Rarity and Fluttershy remain of the Ponytones, however Rarity starts needing to travel more, the two older mares start to have issues travelling to sing. But thankfully, Rarity's nieces are willing to take over their spots, introducing Gold Note and Hummingbird to the quintet. There have been no changes since the addition of the two fillies, however they aren't the most prominant singing group because of the young age of two of their important members.

From left to right;

Opal Aurora: Fluttershy x Thunderlane
- She's the only one in the group without a song based special talent, though she is talented in singing. She's second oldest.

Gold Note: Sweetie Belle x Unknown
- She's a teenager(about the age of 13), and very quickly following her Mom's hoofprints. She sings solo as well, trying to make a name for herself.

Bel Canto: Colouratura x Lime Light
- Older than he looks, especially next to Cortland. He's an adult and only a little younger than Cortland. His confidence is minimal, but singing in a group helps.

Cortland: Applejack x Troubleshoes
- Singing is over apples in his heart, and he's the gentlest giant you'll ever meet. He's the main driving force behind the Ponytones now. He's also the oldest.

Hummingbird: Sweetie Belle x Rumble
- Still a child, about 11 or 10, and she's the key limiting factor for the Ponytones' travel. Even so, they treat her like the full blown member she is.
