It’s strange how we remember important dates on their anniversary and treat those anniversaries as also being important. Birthday’s in particular come to mind, they aren’t important at all unless we make them out to be. Really you could say it’s just a lot of sitting in the past. Dwelling on what’s over and done with. But our past is important, and the things that happen shape who we are.

1 year ago today is when *SilverRainclouds and I became friends. Without a doubt it’s been the best friendship I’ve ever had. This past year has been a rather eventful turning point in my life, and you’ve been there for me through it all. You constant support, encouragement, and friendship have helped influence my life in so many ways, and I am so much better now than I was twelve months ago. Thank you for not giving up on me. I can only hope our friendship will continue or a long time to come.
