Sadly, I didn't take this one. I never got too close, even for photographs. All the credit goes to my boyfriend, Dylan, for taking this~SO. My dad showed me and my boyfriend this nest that is built nicely on one of our plants in our front yard. Relatively high, supported, and a perfect spot. We saw the mommy start laying her eggs and sitting there for most of the day. We bought a hummingbird feeder for her and have been keeping a close eye so nothing and no one bothers her. Can't wait til the eggs hatch.
