I honestly think your HTF characters simply look too crazy for HTF. Try simplifying your OCs a bit!

Hee hee, it's been awhile since I've seen this series. How long has it been, like 3-4 years? In any case, ahh memories of my old account! Maybe on of these days, if you don't mind, I make take a shot at drawing GEO and Annalise (the old, red headed version)
I was never able to do true HTF style, but then again I never really wanted to @_@ I think you got it down though.

I like your HTF Style. BTW, my HTF style is similar to yours, but in a more traditional way and chased authenticity much faster. My old style was similar to yours a few months ago. Your old style lasted 4 years and my old style only lasted 4 months, so I loved your style, you did a nice job on it.

This is just MY opinion but, your characters look better in this style than the do in your original one, no offense. Plus, as previously commented, more poses and objects makes a definite step ahead.
Something about your original style seems to be...lacking when drawing HTF. Not just because it was different from the official HTF style... I can't put my finger on what it is exactly. Sorry, I hate to bash years of your work but this confuses me a bit as you were able to draw pokemon expertly well (and heartless/nobodies too I noticed after taking a quick peek at your gallery). Again, this is all just MY opinion and I'm just some random fool.
Though I'd be very interested in seeing something from you completely out of these fandoms.

The only reason anyone said anything bad is because they were jealous of your art.

Actually I think you capture the HTF style like no other person in the fuckin' and lost earth. And I understood what the last paragraph says, and was really rude to say. But nobody can get angry, do not you say so specifically, so... It was as how you never said that or did et. The best thing that impresses me is the quality of the colors, and as you combine shades with the outline, and it seems I'm the only one who noticed that the shades of color in outline, is not the same lighter color on the skin. That is a fact. Well, I really want to say that your drawings inaccuracies me in enviroment your new style HTF.
Well... See ya...
bye...

Man, this looks great Well done!
There may be some misconception about what's good and what's not. Apparently some people have made you think that authenticity means quality, and that it's a step ahead from the usual. I'd say both styles are equally good; style has really never been my objection. It's just that a lot of your HTF fan art looked copied and pasted from earlier pieces (the similarities between poses, body parts et cetera were too obvious, and we both know that recolouring things is easy as pie in a vector application), and with that, it lacked the dynamic touch that can make a good drawing great. Drawing something from scratch, maybe even on paper, really does help regardless of the style of the final product.
What's next is up to you. I'm all in favour of originality and effort, which seems to be much more prominent in this drawing than usual-- as for the style, your call
