It seems like more and more i hear from people that they don't know what to do with their lives. It seems like people dan't know what to do with their lives. People in society and school seem to be absent of motivation nowadays. Life is full of bitterness the only thing that keeps it from being more so is that we make a conscious act to wake up everymorning and refuse to accept what life throws to us.So here's to you. all the people of my era nd age billowing throw life trying to move faster than time does.
EDIT: this is the finished version, the one i had before was kind of rushed. so...yeah. 6 hours CGI in photoshop, several hour sketch. DOne without reference, and done without a tablet. though in several days my pictures will begin to say; done with tablet.

sometimes, you don't even feel life is bitter. indifference is far more frightening. knowing one's life to be without meaning or motivation is one feat, finding reason is another. but, perhaps life doesn't need meaning to be lived?

Damn, you got a cool composition here with using negative space to create the window frame and much of the shadows. The fingers look a little long, but the lighting there has an awesome effect of showing the contours of the knuckles.
Cool pic. I need to learn to CG my sketches with PS if I'm ever gonna get better.

i agree wholeheartedly with what you're saying. lately i've been wondering what all us students are going to do after college - everyone gives you a path, laid out by society until you're 21. but people are getting burned out too early, and obsessed over insignificant things, that they don't really know what they want anymore and that makes them jaded.

The feeling and the tone in this picture is wonderfull. The calmness seems to overtake and such. Well, yeah really. The colors and the details shown help this as it become more apparent that this guy is stuck in his own little world which can be seen through his intense eyes. Great work .;3

The coloring is amazing, I love how dark and brooding the tone is. And the light coming in from the window is well placed on the character, there's no crazy random light sources or anything. I would've thought that you did use a tablet...
