This is the calf resting with his mother on my front lawn. Again, I was about 6 or 7 feet from these two, and the biggest rule about moose is never get between a mother and her calf so I was a little nervous while taking it. The mother was looking at me with this 'come-any-closer-and-you-get-trampled' look. But, we all do daring feats in the name of art! Seriously though, people get trampled by mother moose all the time.
