Description "Don't worry, nephew, I will help you. Just a few drops of your blood to seal this pact and you will have all the power you need to take Olympus in our name..."

My entry for the #FantasyHunks March contest of Greek Gods. We see here Ares, God of War, bargaining with his uncle, Hades, God of the Underworld, for more strength and power enough to overthrow his father Zeus and take control of Olympus. Naturally Hades, having a bone to pick with Zeus over their positions, is all too eager to help. But can he really be trusted?

I gotta agree with Ulysses0302.

Also, the "stock" pose (found in the "General Poses" list under M4) for Hades really doesn't seem to fit the theme of the image. I would think, if Hades is getting something he really wants, he'd be more inclined to actually look at Ares.

Just my 2% of a dollar, but I'm trying to help.

Thanks for being constructive and polite about it, I appreciate the pointers. I'm definitely filing away this information for my next piece.

It's nicely done considering posing and all but you maybe should think about reworking their expressions. There is none and both of their faces look really lifeless. It drags down the otherwise really good impression of the work. ^^*

My husband pointed out the same thing. I'll keep that in mind as that's something I've been trying to branch out into more.

Expressions are really difficult, I hate doing them but they add a lot of atmosphere to the pics If you like I can show you some great pre-made expression sets I own, bought most of them at renderosity.com. I use them to start up and then adjust it to what I want to achieve.

That would be great. I get most of my stuff from daz3d.com but I have a renderosity account to purchase things. Expressions have always been kind of my bane though I want to start using them more.

I own this set which is very helpful. It's moderately priced and only contains a few expressions but they are great bases for own work. [link]
And this set is a bit bigger but I must say I don't like all those expressions in it. It's rather moderately priced, too

Hope this helps a bit
