After a good part of the day idling in the Cutie mark crusaders club house with her two best friends, Scootaloo decided to leave for tree house for her home. After, giving her goodbyes, she walked down the hoofridge, her scooter was waiting for her patiently against the trunk. She straighten it and upped on, grabbing the handle with her fore hooves and began to flap her immature wings at sufficient speed to propel herself forward. She kept a constant speed, but without haste for there was none. She knew she had to be home at a certain hour, but was far to be late. A relaxed ride then. But as much as the joy of the summer wind brushing against her mane please her, something was bothering her. As much as this wind is enjoyable... everypony could feel this wind... it was upsetting her.
At this exact moment, the blue pegasus of her tireless praises and joy passed in her field of vision. She got to a halt. She quickle crossed her fore hooves and began to observe her doing one of her usual air tricks practice. She couldn't shift her gaze from that blue and irised point in the blue sky.
"I'm sure the wind up there is much cooler and fresh that the one here. I bet it's why Rainbow Dash is so awesome. Because she flies so fast that she must breath so much of it. Wow! Yeah. I'm sure all the pegasi who are breathing the most are the best fliers. I could bet I could fly if I was breathing that air... Yeah. Rainbow Dash must inhale a lot of it. "
She sighted.
"I think I have a great idea to what to do tomorrow. I just need the biggest jar I can get." She then realized something. She shook her head to clear her mind. "What am I thinking? I flew with Rainbow Dash a couple of time and I breathed that air! I... I still can't..." She let dropped her head in defeat. Then shot back up. "No! I will fly! I know that Rainbow Dash would always be there to help me. She took me under her wing. But..." She took her previous position again with her fore hooves crossed, leaning against the handle. "... I would do nearly everything to fly with Dash right now in today's wonderful sky... Look at these fluffy clouds..."
