Homura Akemi from "Puella Magi Madoka Magica"Wanted to draw Homerun-chan ever since I watched the anime... which was in 2011 I believe? Black and purple - how could I not love her design? Also loved her with braided hair, too cute.

Call me heartless but I dont find the ending sad. I kind of find it happy because all the characters dont have to suffer anymore. Even if this fate came with such a major cost.

Well, if you see it like that, yes they found their peace in the end. Although I wouldn't go as far as calling it a happy ending.
In any case the end brought me to tears.

I see what you mean. I was surprised how dark it got as the story progressed, but I needed to know how it ends so I kept watching and oh boy I cried at the end.

Pretty much, although you only learn about that later in the series - for the first couple of episodes you'll only see her as a cold character, you're left rather clueless about her for quite a while. THEN a flashback comes up explaining everything she's been through and you'll know what she's been feeling this entire time. Can't help but love her after that because she was so adorable back then and it just breaks your heart.

The entire anime gets incredibly dark, so by the end all the main characters are mentally scarred I'd say.

yup, had a bit of a "ah well, might just keep watching" beginning, but once somebody gets the head bitten off you think "holy shit, where is this headed O_O ?!" (pun not intended)

Wouldn't group them together. From what I've seen of Elfen Lied it's really bloody and that Yuno anime seems to be about murder, too.
While this anime concentrates more on the inner conflicts I'd say. The characters try to do the right thing, helping those dear to them and get themselves misery. From the top of my head I can't recall any bloody scenes. Violent scenes, yes. But nothing that seems unnecessary for the plot.

Die Schraffur fand ich nicht so schwierig, weil ich Augen manchmal sowieso so zeichne (besonders bei Bleistiftskizzen), fΓΌr die ZΓΆpfte hab ich aber ne Weile gebraucht.
Ich hatte auch versucht, ihre Brille zu zeichnen, hat dann aber seltsam ausgesehen und einen Teil der Augen verdeckt - dann hab ich's einfach gelassen.
