I just had to give her the hoof-fluff, I love when horses have that.
I thought about mixing "pony" with her name for the title, but with the first syllable of Rainy and the last of Pony you get Rai-ny and if you try it the other way round you get Po-ny 
And Rainy + Unicorn =
Nothing works... maybe with "horse"? Rainy + Horse = ... Rairse? Neigh. Then maybe Horse + Rainy... O__O Rather not, hahaha, oh my goodness, why?

pfft, you realize that now. I've been bothered by it ever since I found out she had that name. I always try to name my characters something that people won't associate with any famous characters and it went well for a couple of years and then BAM! In the face, lol. I mean, if you put "Cadence" into the search bar my little Cad won't show up until result page gazillion now. Though I can't bring myself to dislike pony Cadence, so I can live with it.

Well, I call her Cad a lot, so it was not all that present to you in the first place plus she isn't in TOO many comics so far. I think I might even have mentioned it somewhere at that time, but I'm not sure. 
Pink penguin? lol, why? *googles* Oh, I've seen that style, isn't that penguin from some social network? Ah, "Club Penguin" seen some advert for that ages ago I believe. It's funny how the penguin's colors are so similar to pony Cadence's, just look at the hair - just the yellow part of it is missing but that appears in the scarf. Coincidence?

I can see the connection. First it looks for a page with "Cadence" in it and ends up with pony pages and then it looks for stuff by me, I'd say. If it's like that it has to mean that the people on the forum at least gave credit.

I hear with Club Penguin you can customize your avatar, to a point, so it can be assumed with some confidence that whoever made her up did so as a penguin-ized version of the pony Cadence.
But only those 2 when you have many more pony artwork? That's true, during the Google search of raininess I clicked on a few that weren't linked to your work, but the pictures didn't match what was on the page haha.
(since I couldn't get you to bite at the trolling: it'd be kinda ass-backwards for the pony version to show up before the human one can make their debut in your comic, savvy? )

"A Canterlot Wedding" first aired April 21, 2012. I remember that Cadence's design has been revealed earlier, but I don't think it was over a year before the episode aired, so I think that they didn't adapt her colors and that it was coincidental.

Damn you! I thought you meant yourself when you went on me, but then you brought up Cad and Tone, so I was convinced I was wrong. So the ass-backwards part was freaking confusing because these two already appeared in the comic. Then I thought, maybe you meant yourself, but that didn't make sense either because why would you appear in the comic as a pony?

hahaha, I didn't mean spelling-wise. I meant it's sooo easy to confuse the characters because both of them are human. I know it's also really hard to tell Rainy and Pen apart because they both have fluffy ears. It's all so complicated.

Didn't change the color, just the blue-black relation. For most ponies I drew this far I didn't use the big solid black oval in the eyes. Didn't use it for Jace either. I tried it with Rainy, but it kept bugging me, so I changed it to the way I usually draw her eyes (the crescent moon shaped black part instead of the solid oval).

Took me years to tell the difference between and , I mean, they both are in video games, eat a lot and damn do they look alike. I still have difficulties to tell Batman and Catwoman apart, too. I mean, just look how they dress the exact same way, it's like confusing us is their first priority.

As for Batman and Catwoman, I actually think they do look quite similar outfit-wise. All dressed in black, mask with pointy ears covering half their faces... draw them as chibis and the obvious differences will become smaller as well. Kirby and Yoshi on the other hand... I guess one would need to be REALLY high for them to look the same, lol.

I'm just saying that out of all the characters in the Batman universe these two would be the ones who could be confused the easiest as chibis or within a group picture or whatever - not really talking about a fullsized picture here because of course then you'd see the details, but in a thumbnail.

Sure, you can tell Batman is the one at the top, but closer in the middle of the picture you have to look closer to see where exactly her right arm is and such because it's pretty much all in black. Poison Ivy would stick out much more.
Not to mention it gets more tricky if you look at a pencil drawing's thumbnail.

Are ghosts really related to religion? There are religions believing your soul goes to heaven/hell and there are religions that believe in rebirth, but is there one that assumes people turn into ghosts once they're dead?

Ghosts aren't actually related to any one religion, I was referring to the fact that atheists don't believe there's 'life' after death, meaning to you there's no heaven or hell, nor that a person can become a ghost after they die.
Vampires are just another form of life after death, thus atheists shouldn't be something you believe in

I guess I'm not a full-blood atheist. If I'd have to answer with "yes" or "no" I'd clearly choose "no, I don't believe in ghosts", but I wouldn't be completely racked by the news if they turned out to exist. Basically "I don't believe it, but feel free to prove me wrong any time" while some people or so fixed on something they don't leave any room for new findings.

Whenever I draw a character or write for him/her that character becomes real to me on a certain level. Thinking about it, one's religious orientation or the lack of it probably doesn't have an influence on that at all.
