I do not understand why this was submitted to TerriblePonies either.Ā Those are socks, not random-colored hooves, she's not an alicorn, her colors and markings are lovely, and she's cute as a button.Ā Whoever submitted this there must be outright blind.

When I designed the pony, I just threw random things together. And the cutie mark ... Yeah, all in all the design was rushed, and it was the first pony I've ever designed.

Well, to be honest, I don't have anything against TO or its submitters so I'm not fussed about taking it down. If it's there, it's there. Unless the crazydoodl3r wants it down then I'll ask!

Yea, I've noticed lately some submitters are either submitting just to make drama or with jealousy in mind. xT I'm considering just taking a break from checking TP so frequently since I've also seen some really bad OCs just strolling through DA but no one bats an eye at them since their designs are usually just Earth Ponies.
Idk but I kind of joined the TP patrol to look for poorly written characters, but instead all that's put is "bad" designs and art theft cases/recolors.

Yeah, I sometimes don't understand why people absolutely hate alicorn OCs. In all fairness, all the OCs live in a world so far away from canon that the canon world is a speck. I'm willing to give any alicorn a chance as long as they didn't just decide to just make it an alicorn for the sake of it. Heck, I used to have a shapeshifting alicorn queen of her own race. Those days are over though. Thankfully.

I wasn't talking about alicorns, and my opinion about them usually isn't positive since 7 out of 10 times an alicorn OC is an OP character; not because they are an alicorn but because often the writer gives them an ungodly amount of powers and/or a backstory that relates to having strong relations to the canon characters/universe. Why people can't just appreciate Earth Ponies without making them Unicorns or Pegasi (or a mix of the two), I will never know.
But my point in the post you replied to was that just because an OC is an Earth Pony doesn't disqualify them for being a bad character or even from being a mary sue. (Because Earth Ponies with Pegasi/Unicorn/Alicorn-envy are disgusting.)
Also, I've seen maybe 1 or 2 OCs that have actually been decently suitable for the canon world but that's compared to the thousands of other OCs people come up with on a daily basis.
(Someone on Tumblr made a really interesting point that once upon a time when Discord ruled he unleashed Chaos from everywhere but when he was stopped all the places he took chaos from split away and scattered apart from Canon and that's where OCs come from; alternate chaotic universes that split away to be whatever they wanted. *there's also an inside joke that King Sombra was actually the King of terrible OCs and we all know what happened to him*)

Bah, sorry, phrased it wrong. I just wanted to point out the alicorn issues. I know you didn't mention them. 
Oh I've seen plenty of earth ponies with bad designs. Some even worse than the common rainbow pegasus with ultra neon colours. But I love when earth ponies are done right.Ā
I've seen plenty of perfectly canon OCs, some that really give me hope for all other OCs. But I've noticed that some beautifully designed OCs were once shocking back on their first design so there's hope that others might develope through practise. Just as I have done! I still have my Pony Creator alicorn Fluttershy recolours. I like to look at them and laugh. x3
That theory... I like! Makes sense for every OC ever made! Sometimes I kind of half hope that there'll be an episode that will be somehow related to the whole OC deal. I mean it wouldn't be directly about it but we'd be able to tell it is when a neon pony comes to Ponyville. xD But then that'd make it canon to have a neon pony so let's just scratch that idea. xD

... usually I can understand why an OC might be submitted to Terrible Ponies. But... this is really adorable? We've seen pinto ponies do exist in canon, a blue one isn't so odd an idea (and I know it's not your character, but I'm just saying xD).

Agreed! <3 I love her design! Drawing all her socks, marking and flowers were really a blast so I'm not really too bothered with TP. People have their opinions so Imm fine by that.
