Lujain and Aya are my original characters in a story I made.I hope someday soon I can make it into animation..
Lujain is the protagonist, and Aya is one of the main characters. She shares Lujain a secret that no one is aware of; even Lujain himself for some time.
The ring around them is written using an alphabet I made. It is my own interpretation of one of the ancient languages used in my story.
This artwork is my vision of one of the final scenes..
I learned a lot of things while making this artwork, that's why it took a lot of time to accomplish, but I am so happy with the result

making an alphabete from your imagination for a story...

I loved the names
inking lines are so wonderful and ,hair colouring and shading are perfect and the wings too
but there r 2 things
1-if you used some of the BG(background) colours and using it while shading the characters the illustration will be more beatiful-there will be harmony between the BG and the characters- (I m saying that but I don't do that perfectly in my works)
EXACTLY like how you made the wing of the cute Aya!
2-If you draw the background instead of applying a Photoshop s'filter it will be more professional !!

I am so happy with your comment and critique.. It means you looked a lot into the details and spent some time looking at my artwork which I find it honoring really!
I am so glad you liked it, and about the writings in the circle actually I didn't mention that the words has a meaning too but I can't reveal it or else I will ruin a part of the story for the ones who don't know it (actually no one knows the story but me for now hehehee)
About your 2 notes:
1- Actually I put a multiply layer over the characters using gradient of dark blue to transparency from bottom right corner to Aya's face, that's why it is more obvious on the wings. At first I put it from bottom right to the left upper corner of the circle but the characters looked dull with the blue overlay..
Anyway what I am trying to say is I tried to do that but I agree with you it needs to be done while coloring and shading, not as a final step. I needed to plan the color scheme better and earlier.
2- This is the 1st time for me using a filtered photo as a background. I did that after I saw great artists doing it like and but anyway I believe it is better to make 100% original artwork.
I will definitely keep in mind your notes in my future works. And again thanks billions for your critiques. Please don't hesitate commenting at all when you find something that needs improvements. You have a great artistic view on things.

in art there are no (should do) or (don't do) there are suggestions or ways ...when I choose one I should know how to walk to achive the success.
