Due to his poor eyesight, Vince tends to crash into a lot of things. Don't be surprised if you see him with a new cut or bruise every day. HOWEVER, this only applies if he is outside of his tree houses/location! Since he has been around there for so long, he knows his way around pretty well. However, whenever he has to search for food or visit someplace new, that's when he begins having the motor skills of a two-year old.

Vince has too little time to care about being neat and orderly. Heck, his cloaks are stained with berries and covered in debris. Every one of his rooms is cluttered with papers and books about practically everything. He doesn't mind the messes normally, because he remembers exactly where he's placed all of his items. However, the moment a stack of papers gets shuffled a little to the right from the wind or anything like that, he goes berserk trying to find his things.
l Clever/Fast-Thinking l
Due to the mass amounts of books he's read, his vocabulary is incredible. His vocabulary expanded over the years, and the same goes for his wit. His brain races with information he has gathered, but sometimes it overloads him. He ends up crashing quite frequently if he's left alone to just his thoughts.

As stated above, Vince has always had a knack for memorizing information. That one conversation about the weather you two had ten years ago? He remembers what you wore. When you visited him while he was sick that one time forever ago? He knows what he was ill with, his exact temperature, even what you smelled like. HOWEVER, quite often, his brain gets so overloaded that it dumps "useless" information ( such as the examples ). He doesn't have too much control over what his brain forgets, though. That's why Vince writes down all of the important knowledge he wishes to keep ( mainly information about herbs, tarot readings, etc. ).

For whatever strange reason, if someone speaks sarcastically against Vince, he can't recognize it. Same if they're happy, sad, angry, etc. He's just a happy, busy little Birdfolk who can't be bothered with such trivial matters.

He has built a home for himself and makes his own supplies ( ex. glasses, a staff, etc. ). He's definitely one for creation.H i s t o r y / L i f e
Vince grew up with loving parents, his mother being a spiritualist while his father lived as an herbalist. Vince became fascinated by his parents' work, and they knew it. Since Vince could learn to hold a deck of cards, his mother immediately began working with him, teaching him the vast, infinite ways of being a spiritualist. His father, however, was not too keen on the idea, worrying for the safety of his child. When his wife wasn't busy teaching Vince, the father would teach his son of important medicinal herbs and their uses. A lot of "In case you begin feeling ill after your readings, mix this with that" and "If you feel like you've brought a bad spirit into your body, drink this with a sprinkle of that" was spoken to Vince in efforts to protect him from evil.

Once old enough to venture out on his own, Vince left his family ( bringing with him several books on his parents' teachings ) to experience soul-searching to find out more about himself and the spiritual realm. That was when he stumbled across the forest he lives in now, and he knew that the trees were where he belonged. The strange feelings from the forest and its autumn environment lured him in, entrapping him. Vince knew it contained magical qualities, for he first arrived in mid-January and the trees glittered golden brown. Autumn during a winter season? Definitely strange.

He tries to visit his family whenever he can, but the longer he stays in his new home, the less inclined he feels to see them. Maybe the forest doesn't want him to leave?...

When Vince comes in contact with spirits, uses his tarot cards, or anything of the sort, his normal eye color ( pictured on the right ) turns galaxy-like. He does not know why this happens, but the same thing happens to his mother when she uses her spiritual "powers". Birdfolk do have, to an extent, some magic, so Vince believes this may attribute to it. After every reading, however, he feels the same exhaustion as a Birdfolk would after making a transformation. Occasionally, his eye colors shift back and forth from black to galaxy depending on what Vince is doing ( ex. colors will change if he reads a book on spiritualists, touching his tarot cards, etc. ).
