Gotta love film....cyan emulsion only?

Rainsenigma In reply to T-DA2 [2012-06-20 14:27:47 +0000 UTC]
Actually it was shot with a DSLR and made into a digital negative. I then took some of the cyanotype chemistry and blobbed it on the paper and used a can of compressed air to spread it only on certain parts of the paper. After that I just laid the negative over the paper and exposed and developed it.

I figured it was some kind of contact print...cool....no body does film anymore lol

I adore the blues and light, it's so strong it makes this almost creepy- and using light colours too, which isn't too easy to pull off. Excellent.

You should, it's a pretty awesome process. I would lay down minor amounts of chemistry onto the paper and then use a can of compressed air to spread it around. This was the result.

That's very original approach.
I just started working with analogue large format camera and I'm very interested in alternative processes.
Thanks for sharing your work!

Rainsenigma In reply to georgeio-joe [2012-06-20 14:26:02 +0000 UTC]
I did it with a process called Cyanotype. All you need is water to develop it.

how did you do this? its absolutely wonderful!!!
π: 0 β©: 1
Rainsenigma In reply to Sarahbabie [2011-05-07 02:06:33 +0000 UTC]
No, I'm shooting in digital and then making digital negatives out of the files. The process makes all the prints blue like that, but you can tone them in tea, coffee, wine, and other things of that sort to change the color of the prints.

Thanks friend. It's actually a alternative photographic process called a cyanotype.
