Reread my comic recently and decided to redraw one of my favorite scenes! this was a fun exercise to get me back in the mood of drawing these crazy cat people again haha. i'll probably do more of em.Related content

Oh, this was one of more memorable scenes from your comic.
Some of the comic pages really resonated to me on a personal level. I know i like to dig it too much and get too emotional (though most of my friends would find it hard to believe xD), but it brought me back the memories of being lonely and left out. It reminded when I had my own rock bottom in my childhood/teenage years. Broken family, fights, no friends, moving out, etc. This panel (and that storyline where Blaze meets Rainy) reminds me of how important family and friends are and how it feels to be included.
Also, this scene is just so sincere and sweet.. A start of a new friendship.
So yeah, it brings both sad but happy thoughts too. 
Speaking of this panel, wow, it's interesting to see this panel redone, with more shadings and so on. LOVE IT!

I like the shading effects you gave them! it's super nice and detailed, and it feels like it's around dusk for these two from how soft it looks? if that makes any senseΒ
it also makes their fur look super nice and glossy, and that's a really great effect! I like how it came out alot! gives them a good feeling of depth. makes them feel like they're actually there
the background is nicely painted! I like how it's out of focus, though it would've been lovely to see all that detail you put back there nice and crisp
and the signature gives this a nice level of being the real deal, yknow? there's definitely a word for it, but I'm more asleep than awake at this point. forgive my mind from blanking out
very solid piece tho! I really enjoy how it came out, and excited to see the probable return of your webcomic! it was the highlight of my week whenever a new page came out, and I always remember feeling good reading the new pages
