Yeah.....I wanted to conjure the fact that we're sitting under the oak trees and the moon is covered by the dark, thick foliage....And the waves of energy are the moonlight the moon gives off around it but not totally lighting up the night, unlike the sun which gives off a powerful lighting which blends into the scenery......The moon's light is heavy-weight, mysterious and quite clearly centered....It's like a curtain....A whisper...The tears almost bursting at the tip of your eye-lashes....
Thanks for explaining your vision.....I usually do not want to impose a description, I like people to see what they want but this sun-moon debate has been going on for ever since I started drawing ......

Hello ! Sorry for such a late reply....I'm STILL getting my head caught up in this site......Yes, it's totally the moon, it even says in the title....Don't worry....Almost everybody ( think there are only 2 persons who didn't think this is the sun) asks me the same question every time and I don't know why....I made it pretty clear that it's the moon......I don't usually draw the sun, if I do...it has to be a sunset or a sun rise...Or it's partially covered by a curtain of clouds...Usually....if it's the time of day (around noon or afternoon time) I just make the sunlight blend into the scenery like it does in nature....Sometimes I like to be ambiguous about this sun/moon thing.....But this is clearly not the case......
THANKS for your appreciation and that you like the touch of yellow !

Hey, no problem with the reply, you can take all the time you need
Oh, I'm sorry I didn't notice it! Usually I read the title as well as the full description but sometimes, I don't know, I just miss it.
You must be tired of always having the same question coming. My apologies for that.
So I first thought it was the moon, because the outline is pretty clear instead of being blended in the sky. With the blue ink used for the trees, it immeditaly reminded me of the bluish light the moon can give to nature.
But then, I thought it may actually be the sun, because you have that yellow that is a little orange, not like the typical pale yellow of the moon. So the yellow lines in the sky made me think of some kind of fire energy, obviously related to the Sun.
So for me it would be the moon first, but without you telling me it is the moon indeed, I would still hesitate. I guess you created that ambiguity this time too, but unpuposely in this drawing.
Oh and I want to add that all the lines todraw the sky makes me feel like there's energy flowing around this place, and we're under the trees looking at the sky. I like this feeling.
