Description
As the night went on, [You] and Leni continued down snow covered pathway. The park was brightly lit by Christmas decor. Fairy lights hung all across numerous trees in the area turning the place into a winter wonderland.The path eventually led to a large Christmas tree which stood as the center piece of the park. With hands held together, the two of you relish the moment of each others company. [You] figure that this would be the perfect time to unveil the gift that you've bought for her.
Just as [You] were about to enact your plans however, Leni suddenly lets go of your hand and takes several steps forward towards the tree without saying a word.
Bewildered by her actions [You] walk towards her. All of a sudden she turns to face you and reveals a small box in her hands. The box was wrapped neatly with green paper. Holding it all together was a metallic red ribbon which was tied neatly into a tiny bow. She smiles sheepishly as her luminescent blush contrasts her lightly colored skin.
Your eyes make contact. As [You] approach Leni, she clutches the small present closer to her. Eventually [You] stop in front of her, and ask if its for you.
With a quick nod, she stretches out her arms and proclaims it to be yours. [You] are touched by her gesture and mention that you have her gift in your bag as well.
As [You] turn around to reach for it, you suddenly feel a warm embrace as Leni leans in onto you; propping herself to your height by the tips of her boots. Gripping onto the scarf around your neck, she draws you in closer to her beautiful smile.
Before [You] can react, she does something you never thought she would do...

The problem i have with Leni is that i both hate and like her. Shes pretty and sweet at heart yet her stupidity drives me crazy.

Lynn Sr. doesn't strike me as the "overly protective dad" type because if that were the case, he would have busted out the double-barrel for Bobby long ago.

This is so pretty though and since Christmas is all about warming up your heart, well this just takes heartwarming up to eleven, Hahaha. ❤️ I think we all know what Leni’s gonna do in the next part. I mean, come on it’s pretty obvious by now. 😏
I know how much you love Leni and all of that given what I’ve seen from your fanart (Trust me, Leni can be quite overrated at this point now, LoL), but if you like, how would you feel if I give you an idea in case you wanna do another self-insert story.
What if you try doing Lori next time? I mean, am I the only one who’s surprised that Lori hasn’t been shipped a lot with OCs or readers? LoL. Anyway, here’s my idea on how the story could play out:
You (the reader) are a student who goes to the same high school as Lori, who you’ve happened to have a secret crush on, but you could never ask her out because she already has a boyfriend. But while at school, you suddenly find Lori crying and in a complete mess, so you walk over to her and ask her what’s wrong and she tells you that she just found out her boyfriend, Bobby, is now with another girl, meaning he has Dumped Lori.
You feel bad for Lori and then you start to comfort her, saying that she’s one of, if not THE most beautiful girls in the world and that Bobby choosing to dump her was a dumb mistake on his part because nobody can never find a girl who is exactly like Lori. Lori appreciates your comfort and thanks you before you both part ways to go to your separate classes.
Later that day, school is almost over and you are at your locker gathering your things when Lori walks up to you with a shy expression on her face, much to your surprise because normally, you and Lori don’t really interact that much. Before you could say anything though, Lori tells you that there’s a dance coming up that she really wants to attend to and unfortunately for her, since she and Bobby are no longer a couple, she doesn’t have a date to bring with her. Lori then tells you that she was touched by your words earlier and after thinking about it, she decided to ask you to go to the dance with her in Bobby’s stead.
Your eyes widened up in shock, you could not believe what you were hearing: Your own crush was actually asking you out to a dance, but you weren’t really sure if she was asking just because she didn’t want to be alone and face humiliation at the dance or if it was actually *something else...*
You didn’t want to be rude and reject Lori’s offer though in fear that you would accidentally hurt her feelings even more, so you accepted and she is happy to hear that.
Of course I’m sure you know how everything else would plays out: You manage to find a tux for the dance, you get there on time, you find Lori in a beautiful looking dress, the two of you enjoy your time together, and this is the moment where Lori confesses her feelings for you at last. So she kisses you and you and Lori officially become a couple.
The End. 😏
So yeah, what do you think of this idea, you think you would be interested in doing a self-insert story with Lori? Heck, and you know what? I dare you to even make one. 😈 (Note: Keep in mind that this not actually a request, I’m just playing around with you as always, LoL). And maybe while you’re at it, you should do the same thing with Lynn this time since I’m sure there are those who love her, you included. You might as well create self-insert stories for ALL of the Loud Sisters, LoL. Oh boy, I am so going to prison for this, aren’t I? 😂

I think some of the reasons why there aren't really any self-insert stories about Lori is because aside from her remaining pretty unpopular among Loud House fans, the fandom at large sees Bobby as Lori's soulmate, so fans typically don't see her as "available" for a self-insert story. Inversely, aside from some flirting in "L is For Love" and "Really Loud Music," there isn't much development for the Leni x Chaz ship (which I wish would be fleshed out because it's screaming with potential), and when you combine that with Leni's popularity among fans, she's a prime target for self-insert stories like this.
With all that said, the Lori self-insert story you created here is FAR better than the crap the show gave us with the Lori x Bobby ship, and the story you made would make for a great Loud House episode (and permanently ending the Lori x Bobby would check off one of my own requirements to make Lori a likable character because that ship infuriates me).

Hahaha, I feel like I’m the only one who doesn’t see Bobby being Lori’s soulmate at all whatsoever. She could’ve had someone even better. But on a lighter note, you cannot deny that at least Lori is finally becoming more popular and gaining more recognition in the fandom than she did before.
Hahaha, I’m glad you think my Lori self-insert story was so good and far better than Bobby x Lori. You never know if the writers will finally decide to sink that ship permanently, I know I’m looking forward to that day, LoL. 😆
