It is very simple in a great way. It looks like a shot that belongs in Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds. The silhouette of the crow looks ominous and it is looking down on its prey. The minimalism of the background makes you only focus on the crow. Any other birds in the sky would have been distracting so that is a plus. The photo has a very depressing and nightmare feel to it with the lifeless sky. I can imagine a cemetery nearby this wire. Anyways, this displays great talent and it must have been very difficult to find only 1 bird on a wire.

First of all i really like how you focus on the crow and the wire, i think alot of people put alot of background or surroundings in a photo and i find it mostly distracting.
The darkness in the picture really captures a nice vibe that goes along with the crow and its position, it makes me want to look at it longer to investigate what is happening in the picture, yet the fact that its only the silhouette of the crow makes it mysterious so you cannot quite take a hold on what is happening, i really like that.
The surrounding canvas is great cause it really makes the photo whole otherwise it would have felt somewhat unending.
Actually my only critisism is the upper left corner has an small spot of shade in it, no disaster, really just my only critisism.
