What you could think about is adding little things like maybe a garden fork leaning on the tree. Just those little hints that do more than just show a tree but start telling a story. Those little detail is certainly catching the interest of your viewers much more than just a plain tree does. Think about it

i understand and yes, it is a pity that it is drawn on a lined piece of paper. this was during my jr. year of high school and i had nothing to do, no printer paper so lined paper had to do.

I usually don't like drawings on lined paper(it gives the feel that it was done in the middle of history class)--- but in this case, it looks very nice. I thinks it adds something to the picture.

Vey nice, but have you ever considered to draw something as well as you can, so that it would look as realistic as possible?
I think you can draw well but I would like to see something more polished. Something where the shading is very smooth and all the strokes are clean.
