For this collab: [link]To be honest, I usually never bother to get the Giant's Knife when I play Ocarina of Time. I just go for the Goron Sword because it's not in danger of breaking.

If i do the Walkthough for Ocarina of Time (someday), And getting that thing (And Breaking it) I will try to play the entire game with the Broken Giant's Knife.

I never bother getting the Giant's Knife, either--I just get the Biggoron Sword. A Let's Player I like used the broken knife against Dark Link in his playthrough, though, and it worked. It took a looooooooong time, but it worked.

I know, right? I'm glad I spent the time to get the Goron Sword, really helpful for the Final Battle against Ganon (since your only other options are the Hookshot or that crappy Hammer)

Just as a correction. You can use the Light Arrows on the tail as well as the head of Ganon. They actually work though expensive on magic it is well worth it. Just lock on to the tail and use as normal. They deal massive damage to him.

Except THAT side quest eventually leads to a much stronger, never-breaking version of said broken sword. Makes the Dark Link fight WAY easier, and it's nice to have it when Ganon knocks the Master Sword out of your hands at the end so you're not forced to rely on the Hammer.

I always went for the Knife! that thing is the strongest weapon in the game! it's like 33% stronger then the BGoron...but after I break it I get the BG Sword...I usually don't have 200 to buy another Knife...x()x
