My 6-7 month old kitten Tate (short for Tater Chip because she loves potato chips) dose stuff like that. It means "pay attention to me." You get used to it.

My Cat does thatn worse to me.
He actually goes down to where the wires are...and pulls them out on me.
Sometimes as takes them and hides them on me
But I can't really be mad at him.

My cat doesn't do exactly this. But he does enjoy sitting on my head while I'm trying to sleep or sitting his fat arse somewhere on my bed where it's extremely inconvenient or uncomfortable for me (and it's really hard to move the fat bastard) and then he tries to claw me. So when he pisses me off i just pick him up calmly AND THEN I THROW HIM ACROSS THE ROOM AND WAIT TO SEE HOW HE LANDS. It's pretty funny and he doesn't get hurt. He's pretty much proof that cat's don't always land on their feet.

Been there. Similar thin happens when I try to write something. Used to have a cat that seemed to be able to hear a pen writing as out of nowhere the cat would appear sitting on my paper, eating my pen.

i have a very similar laptop from the looks of it. lol. and trust me, i know the feeling, i have a black cat, neka, who does the same thing to me daily. usually means i have to get up and feed her. ^_^
