as some of you may know, i was given the 2D graphic chat lupinar by my close friend, kobweb to turn into my own project known as velkacis. her reason for was because she no longer wished to use chatlands as an outlet for her ideas. she had found a coder who was interested in helping her create a game out of her concepts, but he has declined the offer because it would require spending money that neither of them have at the moment. the two are going to be working on a smaller, cheaper game in the mean time so i urge you once again to visit her gallery if youre interested in following that.

meanwhile, with my personal life spinning madly on i have not made very much progress with the concepts for velkacis (mainly because im having trouble narrowing down world/lore ideas and the such, and its hard to produce art when you still have only a vague idea what youre aiming for). though i have not scrapped the idea, it is just trudging along at the moment and im not sure what im going to do with it just yet. its tabled, in other words.

those of us who were going to be working on velkacis put our heads together and came to the conclusion that KolonaErebus should take over lupinar. he has done just that and agreed to give it back to kobweb when she has another opportunity to create a game out of it. so im excited to announce that lupinar will be opening with erebus as its new rightful owner! (yes, all hail your badger king!) i myself will be behind him 100% to help him with the reopening of lupinar. we feel it will be taking a step in the right direction from the time of its closing, the site will be cleaned up so to speak. it will still have plenty of the art youre all familiar with, and some new art as well. he is currently seeking help for the re-opening of lupinar, and if you'd be interested, you should read his journal here: www.furaffinity.net/journal/61…
