headcanons established while I worked on this:Monroe bought the first aid kit within the first few weeks of knowing Nick. It’s mostly for him. He bought him the pencils too, but much later. Nick payed for the coffee.
Nick was gonna have headphones in, but Monroe’s got a good soundsystem in his house and Nick is easy with music. So I’ll save the hipster earbuds for a later arts.
I did this instead of sleeping!

*Sighs* Poor Monroe. First his Nick was with a woman forever. Now his Nick is beat up. Good thing he's the kind of spouse that goes along on cases rather than pacing at home or sitting by the phone.
