Born just as the sun rises up above
and in this morning a man I become,
learning of pain but all is washed away
as young heart's hope still does not decay.

Late afternoon and lying among the flowers,
there we are, the two young, young lovers,
holding hands and watching birds fly down
and she would be my favorite person to be around.

Shadows become longer as the evening falls,
shades around the heart build walls,
would she return her love for me next
or would it all be just someone's hex?

The night brings about the calm silence,
would I be able to find the right balance
if she would not love me for who I am,
or is what they call true love just a sham?

As another morning arrives and stars fade
from the sky, I was still rather afraid,
yet looking into her beautiful brown eyes,
she still loved me as I love the eternal skies.
