Description I got really bored and started watching the whole Pokemon series 1 again and I decided to make my very own pokedex. I also wanted to be able to change the image that was shown on it so I made some cards with images and information on each Pokemon. The cards go in the bottom of it so that the picture is centred in the screen.
I basically made it out of cardboard and then covered it in paper. The hinge was the hardest part as I had to make a cylinder and put something in the middle which was attached to the parts that came out. The door now has 180 degree motion
To make the cards I just drew up a template of the basic layout on photoshop and then changed all the information. So far I have made only 6 cards but I hope to eventually make all original 151 Pokemon.
This took me about 6 hours to make, and I could barely find my desk afterwards because it was so covered in junk

Sorry for the bad quality photo I couldn't find my camera charger.

Hey I was wondering if you could give me directions on how to make this? I want to make a pokedex for my art project.

Sure!

Basically I grabbed some cardboard from a cereal box and measured out the net of a box 11 x 8 x 1cm, except on the right side there was about 2cm to spare. I put the box together and on the right side I curled it so it would be round. I cut a hole in the front for the screen and grabbed some clear plastic (although you could just layer some sticky tape) and taped it inside.

I then made the front bit out of a piece of cardboard and I grabbed a stick and taped the front to it in 3 places. I put slits in the curved bit of the box so that it would open. After that I put the stick inside the curved side of the box and made sure that it would open and made any adjustments, then I taped it together.

After that I added a few details like the camera in the top-left (which is just a green bead) and I covered it in red paper and added the details with more paper.

I basically built this to hold some pokemon cards I made, so there's a slit at the bottom so you can take them out. The screen is the same size as the image on the card so you can change the display etc.

If you need any clarification just let me know, I'm not very good at directions sometimes
