Description                                                   Kyro, and his adventures

I wrote this for my creative writing class a long time ago, so please be gentle with comments
Also, I have an explanation guide on the bottem, mostly because my teacher never played skyrim

The moon shined brightly over the sky, almost as if the sun had decided to give half of its power to the moon, the night wind chilled the spines of all creatures as it traveled throughout the land, snow fell down as if all the world was peaceful. And in the middle of it all there was an argonian who was screaming in his head about how damn cold it was, this argonians name was Kyro, his scales were black with hints of dark green, he had no feathered hair like others of his race but spikes on his head (can't see them though since he is wearing a hood), his tail was spiny like a crocodiles tail, and he had a claw mark scar over his right eye (could see out of it fine though). He wore Dark leather Armor, a fur cloak (which he had made not long ago from an unlucky bear) black boots, black gloves (stealth guys tend to wear black a lot, for...you know..stealth, blending into the darkness and stuff) the hood that cover most of his face (except his snout) was as black as the shadow that hid his upper face. On his back he had two swords, a quiver full of iron arrows, and an old fashioned hunting bow, on his side were two daggers, when he moved he shivered due to the climate around him, there was a reason there were not many argonians in Skyrim, it was too damn cold. "Dddddammmiit" thought Kyro, apparently so cold that even his thoughts started to stutter, "those directions I got from that old Nord are crap, I don't see a castle anywhere" a slight pause in his head, "actually now that I think about it, the guy didn't seem to be all that right in the head, wait..how much money did I give him?" Kyro moves his hand to check his gold pouch, now only holding 20 gold coins "oh yeah, I gave him most of my gold" after walking for another five minutes in the snow, Kyro finally succumbs to his anger and yells out to the storm (it was a storm to him anyway) "WHY AM I SUCH A DAMN FOOL!!!". After taking a few deep breathes he relaxed himself, he was prone to anger himself when things went very badly for him, (and being stuck in the cold snow, freezing goes into that category, even if he did it to himself) just then he heard the snow behind him crack, he turned around and them let his jaw drop down in disbelief, then after a few seconds of thinking why the Nine Divines, Deadra lords, Akatosh, or any higher power might hate him so much, he turned forward and ran, ran as if he was running from death himself, since technically he was since it was a Frost Troll running after him. "Crap, crap, crap, crap, why in the name of anything that is worshiped is my luck so bad? I haven't done anything wrong...actually scratch that, I did steal from some people, ok maybe a lot of people, but still" thought Kyro, thoughts such as these and many others ran through his head as he was running from the beast, though most people know that you don't have much luck running from a frost troll in snow, its not that they are faster in it, its just that your much slower in snow. The Troll was getting closer and closer, its white breath, spewing from hits mouth filled with large fangs meant for ripping flesh, and from its nose meant for smelling its prey even in such cold environments, it was truly a predator you did not want to run into in these snowy mountains. Kyro, realizing that he wasn't going to get away from the troll, decided to take action. He began to focus what he learned from that other old guy in the town into his left hand, suddenly a small flame appeared in the palm of his left hand, Kyro's response to this in his head was as follows "that damn Imperial bastard ripped me off, this wouldn't even be good for cooking a damn soup, oh if I survive this I am gonna pay that guy a visit", cursing to himself, he turned around, holding his left arm straight out and his palm wide open yelling "well if this won't burn ya I only hope it frightens ya off!". Then focusing on his palm he blasted the the flame out of his hand, though once he did so he decided not to kick that old guys ass, because out from his hands that tiny flame had turned into a large and continuous blast of fire. The Troll, who was not used to seeing something of such a high temperature (icy mountains don't get forest fires much) stopped, began to back away like a frightened animal, then turned around and ran. "Ha, that will teach you to mess with meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!" screaming as he felt his hand burning, "ow ow ow, off off off!" stamping the fire of his hand onto the snowy ground, once it was out he said to himself "ok note to self, fire bad, even if I am making the fire it is still bad" after looking around he also said "if I wasn't lost before I sure am now, where in the divines am I?" after turning 90 degrees he smiled, "well well well, looks like I don't have to get my money back" chuckling, he began to walk over to the small castle he saw in the distance, home of the bandits whose bounty he needed.

"Ok I have fought a lot of people, I have stolen from some pretty famous bandits, and snuck into some pretty dangerous areas, but honestly, why in the void does it always have to be a sewer thats the easiest to break through, I mean this is a damn castle, not a town, why is there a sewer?" thought Kyro as he crawled through the dank, smelly and thankfully warm sewer (if you noticed the fact that Kyro speaks as if he is in a conversation with someone, its not him being insane, he is just a little empty in the friends department). The Argonian silently crepted through the sewer, sadly not knowing much about where he was going, since it was very dark, "I new I should of bought that Night-eye spell when it was there, oh its a bit to expensive so I think I don't need to waste money, I wish I could have hit myself in the back of the head then" said Kyro, in a displeased mood, even though the darkness is a thief's best friend, he always had trouble with getting around it, he didn't have anything that helped him see in the dark better, well he had a torch, but again darkness is a thief's best friend, and a torch would most likely get him killed. After another ten minutes of walking in the darkness (with the occasional stubbed toe, and trip, also cursing) the scaly stalker noticed a crack of light in the darkness. "A door!" he thought, or at least he thought he thought, sadly what he thought he thought he actually yelled out, to which his heart ended up skipping a beat when he heard someone saying "did you say something?". Thinking Quickly Kyro moved into a small area behind a couple of boxes, crouching in hope that no one would notice him, "what?" replied another voice, sounding a little higher than the previous one, "did you say something, about the door?" replied the first voice, which sounded deeper, possibly an Orc, "yes we are guarding a door, what of it?" replied the second voice, which Kyro gathered was most likely a Dunmer or Dark Elf, "well it sounded like you said something" said the orc, "Oh for the love of, really? For the Divines sake, are you deaf?" replied the Dark Elf, sounding annoyed, the orc who sounded both aggravated and concerned said "well sooooooorry, I was just thinking that you said something jeez! I'll go check out back there could be an intruder", the orc opened the door and began to walk into the darkness, torch in left hand, and a steel mace in the left, from the door the elf said "oh yes by all means go into the damn stinking sewers with a torch, if you get burned alive its not my fault" then under his breath he added "why did I get stuck with him today? I have enough things to deal with". Kyro watching from his little hiding spot had a million thoughts go through his head, he could kill the orc, but that might raise alarm and get him surrounded, he could sneak past the orc but the orc could either A) see him, or B) come back to bite him in the arse later, once the orc had gotten near the crates he made up his mind, silently he unsheathed his right dagger, he waited for the orc to be completely opposite of his direction, then he silently walked to him, after a split second sound that was made from his boots, the Argonian went right up to him as quick as a arrow shot, and slit the orcs throat, he covered his victems mouth with his hand to muffle out any sound the orc could have made and slowly brought him to the floor so that there would be no sound from the fall. Just as he was finished and about to move on he heard a "tink" he froze, turned his head and saw that the orc had dropped his weapon onto the stone floor, sure not from a far distance, but enough to make a sound that caused the Dark elf to open the door and say "what did you drop your weapon ag....who the hell are you?" before the elf could draw his sword, Kyro had taken his bow, loaded it and shot a arrow right under the ribs, close enough to strike the heart, causing the elf to be dead before he hit the ground. With a sigh of relief, he began to check the bodies, the elf had apparently had a key on hand, not sure as to what the key was too, but still it was helpful to have a key on hand from one of the current inhabitants of the keep, even if the person in general was already dead. After putting the key into his sack, and stuffing the bodies into a convenient cloths dresser (there are a lot of these everywhere), Kyro went back to his infiltration of the bandit filled keep, but suddenly he stopped, he noticed a book on the table along with some mead, and a couple of coins. After taking the coins he picked up the book, once he saw the title his right eye twitched, his free hand clenched, the book was shaking in his hand, fury from the depths of his soul wanted to burst out of him and scream with all his might, the moment he saw the title. The book that had gotten our protagonist, so filled with rage, was "The Lusty Argonian Maid". "OK I was hoping to not get much blood on my clothes but, someone is gonna die one painful death" said Kyro, outloud not caring that he could have been heard, he put the book back down, grabbed the bottle of mead, and threw it at the wall, shattering the bottle into a bunch of tiny pieces. With a sigh, he calmed down and went back to his goal, only to stop turn around and walk back to pick up the book and place it in his bag, all to casually. "No one has to know" thought Kyro as he walked out of the room and back into the keep, ready to complete the task at hand. "Time to go to work" said Kyro grinning as he walked out.

Now the moment you have been waiting for, the explanations
Argonians- argonians are in short lizard people, though they also can breath underwater,
Nord- think vikings, they pretty much fit that idea nicely
The nine divines- they are high religious figures, the main religion in the elder scrolls series is very polytheistic, and I love it like that
Deadra lords- pretty much demon lords, though not all of them are evil and they all have much more an impact on the mortal world than the divines, one of them actually tried to take over the mortal plane, yeah the player stops him
Akatosh- an ancient race with grand magic and spells that some may even pray to
Frost troll- trolls that live in snowy areas, mostly common in skyrim, I notice that trolls in the elder scrolls series remind me of gorillas, so I hope that helps you imagine them.
Imerial- pretty much the humans of the story
Orc- now I know your probably thinking that its the brutish race of orcs from Lord of the rings, while I will have you know that Orcs are actually an accepted race in elder scrolls, there are people with orcs as their next door neighbors, orcs running taverns, heck even orcs running book stores (ok there was one but still) also orcs are a type of transformed elf (you heard me)
Dunmer- dark elves aren't evil, they are asses like most of the elves, but they aren't an evil race, few races in elder scrolls are considered evil
