Between commissions doodle. I found this awesome martial artist picture, of a woman no less, and used the pose. Haven't drawn turtles in too long! Also wanted him naked. No belt or pads or weapons. (I so miss turtle tails in the new cartoon.) Fooled around with a pencil brush. Not sure I like it, but I haven't found a pencil brush yet that I do like.Entirely done in Sai.

I adore the balance in this picture; it's not just the pose - which is incredible - but it's also in the shape of his body. I'm particularly enchanted by the curvature of his buttock into his thigh; that solid musculature that speaks of real power. You wouldn't want to be kicked by that leg!

Nice! I love that he has a "Nickelodean" style vibe with still your own twist to it, especially that he looks a bit more like an older teen here.
